@secureiam I managed to get the cover off, learn the device and now it is working well.
Only question is:
All my devices inside the house are in area A. Garage DT-W PIR is connected to Area C.
What then, do I set the area or areas for my sounder?
Many thanks in advance.
@secureiam I left it on fit for commission mode for at least 20 mins and then I got these results. They are the before and after signal readings.
9 LCDLP-W 34 56
10 Premier Compact PW-W 100 100
11 Micro Contact-W 100 100
12 Premier Compact PW-W 100 100
13 Micro Contact-W 68 74
14 Premier...
Thanks for the explanation @secureiam
Micro Shock-W on zone 15 did have a supervision fault for a few days about a month ago but again, it disappeared automatically, just like the Micro Shock-W in zone 21.
The engineer suggested the default 3M pads are useless, and for an end user who does not...
@secureiam So below is a list of zones and devices with their signal strengths. What is acceptable? 30+?
Im worried why my keypad in zone 09 is only 34 and the door contact right next to it in zone 11 is 100, surely that doesn't make sense - the keypad is slightly closer to the main panel...
The main control panel is in a cupboard below the stairs. This shock sensor is on 1st floor bathroom window, near the front of the house. But still much closer than the DT-W PIR we troubleshooted in the garage.
I better check the signal strength of all shock sensors / PIRs tonight and see if...
Okay thanks, at least I know I'm looking in the right place.
The sounder did go off for about a second and then went off straight away, so if it goes off again, how do i turn it off? Just take the batteries out?
Tried all this, pushed the tab with a screwdriver and tried to pull the blue cover part away from the wall. Had a neighbour help me too and we both couldn't remove it.
Is there another technique to this?
Thanks for your message @scott1980
If I've completly removed the screw, do I need to put it back in? I'm assuming this part doesn't matter.
I pushed the tab with my thumb, and with a screw driver while pushing the blue cover up at the same time. Am I doing it wrong?
Hi Guys,
Really struggling to remove my Odyssey X3 Octagonal bell box cover from my alarm system. I'm using an Odyssey X-W back plate.
I've removed the screw at the bottom of the cover and as per user manual, I've pressed Tab and pulled the cover up, but it doesn't come out.
Am I missing...
I have not put it into commissioning mode. I assuming this is the same as changing the jumpers to "fit for commission" mode on the main panel?
I didn't try this because it fixed itself. Should I still do it?
