    the window was working fine I stopped the car parked up for 5 mins came back and window would not work.I have cleaned connections and looked under the seats for possible connections but no luck.In the Haynes manual a thermal cut out switch is mentioned but no matter how long i look at the wire...

    I have a 1995 passat and the d/s window will not work at the same time the electric sunroof also packed up. I have checked the fuses in the fuse panel but all seem ok.

    thanks for the tip.Whilst checking I found an air leak in a vacuum hose now ~~~ seems fine.Hopefully.

    my '95 passat 2L had a problem with the engine revving on its own.A new potentiometer sorted this out along with a good clean.Now the bloody thing cuts out now and again when coming to a halt.I've checked for air leaks found one put it right but still the same.AAGHH!!!

    what is the size of this olive,as a 15mm seems to be to big.Drip getting worse Ithink I over tightend.oops! :(
