Is there any way I can retrieve a metal collar stiffener lost in the washing machine a few weeks back. I believe it has probably fallen through the drum but has not made it to the filter. I'm aware it has probably been busted up but it has a sentimental value.

Thanks Rocks. Was just a little concerned over what may have broken the lifters in the first place. Every clip on all three 'lifters' (every day's a school day!) is broken off.

Hi. The three plastic cogs attached to the inside of the drum have all broken away (small plastic clips have been shattered on all three turners). Happened in one single wash i believe. Something that may be related is a metal collar stiffener which disappeared in the same wash (any ideas...
