    Its a 2001 Barrats development, so a bit of a mix. The house next to mine (like a pair together on an S bend) is mirror image of mine.

    Yeah that was my original idea to keep the 'style'. In the scheme of things I am open to either but don't want to waste money with applications if they will more then likely say no. ty for ideas !

    your right, i would prefer that , but after reading what palnning sometimes want, i would not be against moving the gable if needed. ty for input. good chance of getting planning consent with a hip roof you think ?
