    It does mean a lot to me, but the hole where the wires can come out of frame is where the wires are (take a look at the first pic). I tried installing it the right way round but I couldn't push it in properly because the hole on the wall wouldn't allow it. Hence I have had to install it sideways.

    Thanks again. After great difficulty I have now installed the new fan! I was wondering, if my botch job allows condensation to enter the internals and the fan explodes or something, will it cause an electrical fire or damage the various wires permanently?
