    Looks great, really jealous of your project, I'm really eager to do a self build myself, although I too have limited experience. People always scour at me when I tell them that though, so I'm glad I read about your project. Thanks for sharing and keep us updated!

    Tenement Flat Scotland - major refurb (near original state)

    I for one defiantly still use a bath whenever I get the opportunity to as my flat only has a shower. I would be so much more inclined to take a place that has a bath as well. Try and get on in if you can!

    Is a durable paint worth the extra money?

    IMO it's more cost effective to use good quality standard paint, and like you said keep a spare jar for touch ups. However durable they may say the paint is, its still paint at the end of the day! Good luck.
