    floor expansion gap, what sealant /caulk?

    hi all, could someone recommend a quality product for sealing the 1/8" expansion gap between 8'x4' plywood sheets laid as a floor. The sealant/caulk needs to have good compression and elastic properties and accept a spirit based floor paint. many thanks for any suggestions. rgrds walt

    hi onecog, i've used the technique above on both ancient and brand new copper pipe, both 'as is' and annealed with the same results. The older pipe is certainly a lot thicker walled but again if pressure is relaxed during a bend it will also tend to kink. cheers, walt wales
