Hi, so I can confirm.... after putting the wire into port 4 I now have CH control from the Hive. But HW control is from the Hortsmann. Therfore to go fully Hive I do the following: Put the Hortsmann L/N/E in with the R6660D wiring into the Hive. Then the switch live for CH that was in the R6660D...

Is that how it works then, I should keep Hortsman for that and wire Hive to channel 4 still

Thanks RandomGrinch, I am still confused as to how one wire turns on the pump and valves :). Seems crazy complicated junction box. So if I ditched the Hortsmann, I would not worry about the bridge wire etc. Just wire the Hortsmann wires to the Hive with the sleeved wire still going to number 4...

Hi, I have this heating system I fitted a dual channel Hive but when I turn the heating on it does not make the valve sound or fire up the boiler. But when I turn the water setting on it turns the heating on with it. This is how it is wired this is how the old R6660d was wired Please help...
