Yes, there is some noise and wobble when moved by hand. I had a nasty feeling it might be something like this, and I don't think its a job I can attempt myself :( I have never (well, hardly ever) overloaded the m/c but it is eight years old so I suppose its not done too badly...

I have a Zanussi washer-drier WDT 1085 It has recently started making a loud knocking sound during its spin cycle (as though it has a load of rocks in). If I put it on spin without anything in then there is a slight rumble, but it's not really noticeable. What's likely to be wrong?
