Undoubtably correct... however. I can’t see a way to shorten the wire without cutting it. James

Sorry, horrible wasn’t particularly helpful. I more meant I find them fiddly, and they don’t seem to grip particularly well. When the fitting arrives the ends have a metal crimp on them which of course is lost when the drop of the fitting is shortened. I suspect the reason the manufacturers...

No not yet, the company that installed the boiler were supposed to be coming on Friday to fix the draincock... but that didn't happen o_O
