I've pretty much resolved the problem by removing the evohome heads, temporarily replacing the standard TRV heads and turning them min to max a few times. Replaced the evohome and all seems ok now. For info, the heads do auto cycle but not sure how often.

The installation engineer arrived took a look at the boiler, saw the expansion tank and immediately said we should keep that in situ, might just need it one day. Decision made!

A few years ago the expansion vessel on my Vaillant boiler failed. As it was a big job too replace I had an external vessel fitted which has worked fine. Now I'm having a new boiler installed. I know it doesn't need the external vessel but is there any benefit to leaving in situ?

Looking to have a new boiler and Navien range looks interesting. When I checked for service agents on the Navien website It listed just one in my area about ten miles away. Are there really so few service agents or can they be serviced and repaired by any gas engineer?

Can you isolate the cold feed to the bathroom then see if hot water comes through the mixer tap?

Do you have a mixer tap in bathroom? Cold water could be leaking through.

All sorted now. I created a custom schedule which included all zones except the bathroom. All other zones set to 5 Deg. The bathroom continues to follow the main schedule. Now we have nice warm dry towels!

I have tried all the preset quick actions, but none of then achieve the required result. Is there a way to setup a custom quick actions? I can't see any way of doing this.
