Sometimes as a safety protection my SMEG hob trips and after a while resets - this time after turning power off then on all the display number light up and count up- but then the unit wont turn on from the start touch display as though there is no power

Can any tell me how to test the pressure relief valve and the expansion vessel on a Vaillant eco tech. The pressue remains in the CH system when the heating is on but drops off when it is cold - cant find any CH pipes leaking?
