try disconnecting the battery terminal for ten-fifteen seconds as sometimes this will reset the settings :)

i have a ford scorpio ultima my abs light has come on i have checked the breaks they are working alright and i have checked the fuses they are fine but the light will not go out. the mot is due and i have been told they can fail the car if the abs light is on. can anyone help.
