Everything looked fine on the boards.. there was no rust or "chalking"/white powered anywhere but I will go with it and see how long it lasts. For anyone interested Miele do a £289 fixed price repair.. but didn't check if they would cover my machine as usually they cover stuff from 15 years ago.

I get the flashing red light "Water inlet/drain indicator" when I put on a wash or rinse cycle, after it fills the drawer for a few mins/i can see the water coming in and hear the drain pump going - letting the water out the drain hose. Is that not the error message??

There is only one pipe that goes to the drum from the drawer and it is connecting up fine and with no blockages Darn, I forgot to do that test before taking the controller boards apart. Will put everything back together and try that, most likely tomorrow now. Feeling a bit under the weather...

Has anyone removed the pcb board on a miele before? I am struggling to remove it and the front knobs too. I tried putting a flat screwdriver in the gap behind the knobs the pulling on them but they are not coming off.. I don't want to snap them off or break them. Is there any tricks or correct...

The machine seems to be working as normal as it should be when spinning just after the spinning is finished the pump keeps going despite the cycle has finished

forgot to mention that it works fine when spinning.. in spin mode, just pump starts when it has finished spinning and keeps going/pumping

yes i have, the drain pump is constantly running. I did hear click before the pump started running near the bottom of the machine when I reset/tried resetting the machine (removing the power for 10 mins and then powering it back in)

How easy it is check the control board or is it just a case of getting another control board and try changing it to see if works with another control board? Is the control board easy to change/replace or should i just cut my losses now and get myself a new machine? If so, what brands are good...
