The pump was fine in the end. I was able to take it out and test it. It seems that Salmson pumps also let a lot of water out the bleed screw. Turned out to be a stuck diverter valve not allowing enough flow through the CH system to take away the hot water. Thanks for your assistance though. Will

I already had the head off, and to my untrained eye, the impeller looked pretty clean and as I imagined it should. Will inspect it more closely tomorrow. Thanks

Hi folks, I wonder if you can help me? I assume it is NOT normal for a lot of water to keep flowing (spraying) out of the CH pump when the bleed screw is removed (pump not running at the time)? Everything I read says I should expect a trickle, but for me it doesn't stop until the system is...
