Netatmo Smart Thermostat Install (Non-Standard Install)

Glad I found this. Just opened up the airing cupboard to a familiar scene. Currently the netamo thermostat is wired into 2 and 3 and is doing a great job of measuring the heat out of hot water cylinder whilst house freezes. So planning to wire relay instead to 2/3 running the L/N to the...

    Identify replacement part

That might work to replace all the parts. Doesn't give a measurement of the ends but look they are stepped. Cheers.

    Identify replacement part

Sorry. Doesn't mean anything to me. I was just after a direct replacement for the part that had split. I'll pop into the local shop next week with all the bits. Sounds like a replacement can be fabricated through a combination of other bits. Cheers.

    Identify replacement part

I think this is too short. The corrugated piece is over 50cm and needs a nut at each end to attach on to the two pieces. But thanks.

    Identify replacement part

It's going between the waste pipe and an external fat trap. I wanted a quick fix whilst we wait for a complete revamp of the plumbing.

Preperation for metal upright with rust.

Sorry for my terminology. We have a plastered metal upright in the extension and when preparing for painting I found some blown plaster. Removing this I found a little rust and then the source of water ingress which has now been resolved and dried. Next step is to replaster. But first to...

Sound from toilet pan transmitting to neighbour

My downstairs neighbour after over one year since installation, has mentioned that he can hear me pee through their ceiling in multiple rooms. I have listened and I agree you can hear a kind of gurgling when you pour water into the pan, but not when you flush. He suggested the toilet has...
