Thanks for the replies. I was all geared up to tackle this 'at the weekend' when the mother in law comes & baby sits & what do you know gets a plumber round who sorts them out (at a cost) Still no idea's with the shower though??!?! Any thoughts? :cry:

A right head scratcher for me anyway. Both my upstairs & downstairs toilets need to be 'pumped' to acheive a flush & both showers lose pressure after around 3 minutes!! Given I live in a relatively new build house (5 or so years old) &The water coming out of the tap is still full on(pressure)...
