Well, it's been in full swing for a couple of hours and is doing the job - no warm air coming back through the AC. The fan has a long enough power cable for it to sit in the loft and be plugged in outside.

You know what, I'd already found that and ordered one :D I'm going to try it this side of the ceiling first, but I've got power in the loft if I need to do it that way

Yeh, something mid way just to help extract the warm air. I guess some sort of extractor fan could work. Just trying to picture how to set that up.

Morning, I have a freestanding air con unit that I've vented out through the loft. This has of course needed a long vent hose. I'm worried that the heat isn't efficiently being pumped through it and ending up blowing back into the unit. Is there some sort of pump I could use midway to help the...
