From the Ariston Cylinder installation guide, the expansion vessel goes after the combi valve on the cold coming in. This is fine I think. But...
washing up liquid does make it a bit slipery...
I allways put them on the toilet first, and then in the hole. This enables you to turn them as you push, and I find they just pop on. Also if it is a flexi, it could be pulling too much.....
