Yes I have removed the receiver but the boiler seemed to override the new thermostat when testing it

Hi I have a vaillant ecotec. 28 year 2020 with a vrt 350f thermostat with built in receiver I want to put netatmo smart thermostat in but how do I over ride the built in receiver thanks
