Yep there is an expansion gap of 1/4 inch the whole way around. Now under the door jam might be a shade tight but it can still move. Think that could be a problem?
Yes I used the 2mm foam that came with the laminate. The floor beneath never had any visible dips. The cracking is not too excessive. Just hear it when I walk every now and then but alittle is too much for my liking. So this is normal then?
