sorry my mistake i do not have a sp firefront - i am looking online again at alternatives the sp has glass fronts and is quite nice but very costly i have bermuda inset 2 - which probably did cost a bit just very traditional i will look som emore thanks for everyones contributions so...

i have the sp firefront looks like a real fire with coals and brass grills etc - just not my taste in appearance . and no petit pablo i promise not to block the vents - the fire is being left untouched - unblocked - staying just as it is but with a ready made radiator cabinet stood infront...
