Because the engine is near enough too hot to touch after a 5 minute drive !

I have a 51 plate 206 xsi - for a week or 2 now i have noticed that the engine is getting extremeley hot even after a 5 minute drive ! All is showing up normal on the gauges on the dash, i have enough oil, water, etc Any ideas? :(
