Picked up a clamp meter yesterday to do just that. It’s been a complicated process so far but think we’re getting there.

Yep. Process of elimination is what I'm trying to do. The new meross stat shows that I'm using up to 25 kWh heating our bedroom alone per day. I'm sure I'll get it down to 75;)

I'm going to. They actually advised me to switch to smart meter with current supplier then switch when ready. Their lead time for fitting is 8 weeks so going to have to wait is out with SP

We got a meross smart stat for our bedroom and can now control this. I've ended up putting a cheap timer on the immersion so it only comes on for a total of a couple of hours a day. The tank is tiny so we have to replenish more. Lat 24 hours we've only used 90 kWh which is an improvement. The...

Yes..... Our previous house was a 4 storey detached Victorian villa, insulated as best you can with that type of house and we were using 12-18kWh per day loadshifting overnight to take advantage of EV tariff, our bills were c.£120 per month. I reckon we're approaching 10x that as Scottish Power...

I have been taking readings, generally first thing in the morning and sometimes throughout the day. Lived here for 4 weeks, 3 of which the UFH didn't work. Waiting to get a smart meter fitted at which point I can shift everything onto an overnight EV tariff, however, been waiting nearly 2 weeks...

There is electric UFH which is taking a fair bit and easier to regulate but a simple measure of my meter from 11pm-8am I reckon 20kw was the immersion. I've started switching it off at the board but obviously am looking for a better solution. No storage heaters and agree re insulation, it's on...

I’ll revisit today. The consumption so far IS horrendous, 110-180kw per day.
