Hi, I have a CDA cd200 combi oven and grill. The problem is that the grill doesnt work at all. I have checked the selector switch with a continuity test and it seems to work fine. The grill doesn't get warm at all?? I also have a problem whereby the oven will intermittentnley switches on...

I have taken the pump off and had a look and it moves freely and power is definitely going to pump. Am I correct that if the pump has power then it should be running, there isn't anything on the pcb which sends a signal to the pump that starts it?? Can anyone think of anything else, to me it...

Many thanks Tony The test indicates that the pump is not functioning. It is not spinning up at all. If I were to take the pump of to have a look at it's internals can I take it off without draning the boiler ??

Any advice gratefully recieved: Whenever I either turn on the DHW tap or CH the boiler will fire up and the fan will start but after around 5-10 secs the boiler will make an dreadfull clunking noise and will stop the ignition/flame There does appear to be a small amount of water discharged...

doh - no it didn't. I am just in the proccess of cleaning it now. Do you think that will do it, the operation of the vavlve seemed fine in terms of movement etc. Is there anything else that I should check? Thanks for reply

Does anyone know the nut sizes on the diverter valve?

I have fixed the pressure problem -so presumably I don't need to check the expansion vessel? Is there a way of identifying if the dhw problem is caused by a heat plate blockage or the diverter?

Thank Tony I have checked the saddle switch (thats the microswitch on the diverter valve thats held on with a plastic clip) Yes? If I take the clip off then the boiler fires up, if I press the switch in the boiler cuts out. How would I test the expansion vessel ?

I shall get the diverter valve replaced then, fingers crossed. Tony mentioned that its not a totally recommended DIY job. Would it be "safe" to do myself, If I was very careful?

Please, Anyone got any ideas?
