You started this over a month ago and still not fixed it :? maybe you should have called an engineer as it would have been up and running long before now ..sorry to sound cruel but this was a simple repair that has just gone on and on and on :shock:

If it was working before you cleaned it then yes you could have disturbed a wire etc..I would recheck again to make sure you have not dislodged anything but make sure the plug is out first !! Make sure all connections are nice and tight ,even if they look ok just make sure they are seated...

Could be a faulty heating element or the NTCs ...There is also a limiter on this model to check as well..You need a multimeter to check the resistance of the heating element and the NTCs to rule out any problems first.Theres a NTC sensor at the heating element and a limiter at the heating...

As above never push the drain pipe (outlet hose ) right down in the standpipe or it will back syphon and the dirty water will end up back in the machine !!

It's the valve that screws in to the rad its self that is leaking ,not sure if it's called the tail ?

Hi kingandy2nd ,the wall slopes and is not a full 20 x 10 if you get my drift lol i just used the highest point and widest width as a rough calculation as it was different sizes in certain places so did not need as much as i thought .I did use about 1 1/2 bags and not one bag as i mentioned...

Yes !I am a novice but want to give it a go :D Might go and get one of them bigger buckets from wickes them yellow ones or mix up 2 smaller buckets at once ..would this be better only will need a full bag to start and don't want to run out halfway through ? rather waste some than have to mix...

It it ok to to use some intant filler ( 151) to fix angle bead on wall in hallway ready for a skim or is it not a good idea ?

you should provide model number etc so it narrows it down ,bosch make too many dryers to just randomily guess what YOUR model is !!Capacitor will prob need changing on motor if you are having to keep starting it by hand ..that would be first port of call .Plug out first
