I am wanting to buy a shower screen stay bar to go across the width of a shower tray to be secured to the wall. However, with a 6'5" son, we need one which fits onto the glass screen, goes vertical for 4-6" and then horizontally across to the wall. Are these available to buy? We can find them to go across the width, but without the extra height.

With a bar, 90 degree angle, and glass support / clamp, you should be able to make this up. Have you thought about a support coming down from the ceiling, or just using a wall channel?

Another solution is to order a piece of 8mm toughened glass from a local supplier at 6 foot 6 (or higher) and use a conventional wall bar. This might save you money too, but remember to specify any holes etc when you order (can't drill toughened glass).

Thank you for that. I will give them a try.
