Hi evryone

Small problem regards to a drip at the bottom of the diaphragm housing when the hot water is stopped, if i dont run the water it doesnt drip

Combi is a vokera maxin 24e

Just wondering what i need to fix either new complete housing or just a new diaphragm

Thanks

Kev

Get the boiler serviced. I am sure there is plenty other stuff that is operating a bit slower. A proper service will put this workhorse back on its feet!

Thanks for the quick replys

This boiler has been a brilliant boiler, 14 year old now and only had 2 services, hardly ever goes wrong and when it has gone wrong only had small repairs / fixes by myself this boiler works like a charm

i already have that service kit at hand, is it easy to replace them

Do i need to drain any part of the system

cheers

I've heard many many stories where people had services and few weeks later boiler goes wrong and loads who are with British gas

Just goes to show 2 services in 14 year and hardly ever goes wrong that services are not needed as often as company's state

Kev

British gas will not do a proper service, find a local independant that knows the boiler and ask for a full service including installing the kit that you have, cant say for your area but in mine under £100 would be normal and well worth it you have a decent boiler and worth spending a few quid on

Id be more than happy paying £100 for a proper service not just a Hoover like BG seem to think a service is

Is there anyone on here from SR7 area

call Vokera themselves and ask who they would recommend in your area, they might even do it on a fixed price , sorry I cant really advise on your area as I dont have any experience of it
