Loft lights: 2 circuits

Hi all, after a big, nasty loft clear out, I'm about to install LED battens up there on two circuits. Despite a search in here, I can't find what I'm looking for. So, would someone mind checking out the attached diagram? It's either completely wrong, or I've overdone it and there's probably a simpler way to achieve the same thing, but experience isn't something you can buy alongside light fittings. Any help is more than welcome, oh, and would Wagos in boxes be considered appropriate or even acceptable?

Firstly, 1mm² T&E will be more than adequate. It can carry 16A - more than enough for any derating factors.

Secondly, what do you mean by two circuits? Just separate lights being operated by two switches?

What were you looking for? It is just a standard light circuit.



The diagram looks alright but as it is in the loft why do you not just run the power to the switch(es) position and then to the lights.
 
I mean its not wrong. That is how you would do it with ceiling roses, but you have LED battens. (so do the junction in them)
Do you really need 2 switches for them? LEDs don't consume much. Be simpler with one switch and just take one lamp feed from the other.

The other way to make it really simple, is to take the down stairs feed, straight to the switch, and then upto the light(s). (join the neutral straight thru at the switch), but that partly depends on the layout of things. and any intensions to add things later
