Nothing to do with Trump, Iran panicked when they heard Macron and Starmer have arranged a meeting to discuss it.

On a separate note, I keep hearing hearing that Iran have agreed to hand over their enriched plutonium but can't find a definitive source, if it's true, he's achieved more than Obama and Biden combined.

Edit: I see from your link it''s a Trump comment but no outside verification or acknowledgement by Iran.

It depends, there a lot of detail in there and Trump has lied a lot recently about what has been said and agreed.

Best realistic case is the highly enriched Uranium will be handed over and Iran will revert to the old Obama deal rules.

Without the details we can't tell if Iran or the US came out of this with more of what they wanted, although we know Israel are fuming that they weren't involved and we're forced to stop attacking Lebanon.

Hopefully this is the end of the war, but the US and Israel seem to have left Iran in a stronger position than before they attacked.

But how will anybody know they've handed over all of it, and what's to stop them enriching some more?

There is currently a cruise ship in the IRGC restricted area - so its open.

Or more to the point does Iran also trust them?

After all, the US and israel started this illegal war...

So if trust is not on both sides we'll be back to war before too long!

It's possible on theory, but you might be underestimating how hard it is to secretly make or refine uranium. It starts with a nuclear power plant and gets harder from there.

In practice the nuclear material from power plants can be tracked and calculated quite accurately. Assuming you could somehow spirit tons of it away without being noticed it then would need years of refinement to make it weapons grade.
