Hi,
Just after some advice on my UPVC patio doors.
I can see there are two slotted drain holes in the door sill to drain water out, (see attached image).
But, I can not see any corresponding holes on the underside of the door leaf itself.

So, my question is, should there be holes in the underside of the door leaf? or does it drain some other way?
If there should be drain holes and they where not put in when the doors were manufactured.
Can I take the doors off and drill some myself? If so, where abouts on the underside of the
door should I put them and how big?
The reason I am asking, is that on the outside of the door leaves, we have a hook and eye latch
at the bottom, and on one of the door leaves the screw had rusted and the eye bracket had moved.
So I pulled what was left of the screw out and water started to come out of the hole for quite some time.
So there must have been quite a bit of water built up within the frame.
Also, water seems to have been slowly coming out over time as there was a vertical rust mark
running down from the bottom of the eye bracket, (see bottom latch image attached, of other door still with old screws in).

Any advise would be appreciated.
