So if you took the drains out of the equation how would they know whats under there do they have access to maps?

Surely they have equipment to scan the ground to see if its safe to mole or not.

i only asked about if it will be trench or mole. There was no mention of the drains and i should have realised and asked. It only dawned on me yesterday if they can go ahead with it or not because of the drains.

Yes i did ask and i was told they will not know until morning of arrival by the contractor. One way or other its getting done especially as its free of charge but i would prefer the mole

The gas company is coming out to install a gas line to my house up to the recess box you can see. There is a drain running from the back of the car and along the drive where you can see the man hole covers. Will they be actually able to run it to the recess box? Is this something the sales rep...

I think now what the gas company meant is the area around the bottom of wall a track is needed for the pipe to sit flush against wall going into the bottom of the box. At first i thought they meant the ground needed to be level. What you guys think?

I am getting gas brought up to the side of house along driveway. The gas company have stated i need a plinth at box. It says pipe needs flat surface ground to box. Why? The ground is basically flat maybe very mimimul sloping that is very hard to notice.

What third part smart thermostat would work with the boiler around about the £150 mark?
