P.s if you have access to the internet you can easily find out how to back door the panel which seems like an easier option then spending months trying to guess the code

Normally installer would manage it as you pay them for it and they add it onto there account. He should be able to make the changes if u request

I think you can but the option needs to be enabled in the cloud account which presumably your installer set up. And as mark says obviously wouldnt get live notification if mains supply to the house was disconnected

Oh dear. Will cost u about 100 quid for a digi wifi xa. Place the ariel away from the metal panel. But would definately request the installer to fit the correct modem before wasting 100 quid of my own money

So he didnt come to check the system at all? Does this person specialise in alarm systems, or does he also do window cleaning, painting and decorating, and tv aerials

How long ago was it installed? Have you raised the issue with your installer and have they attended site to conduct any tests.

Well he should do as he shouldnt have put it in there in the first place
