    We all make mistakes, difference is the self employed pay for it out of their own pockets. Not sure I've ever seen a warped trv? Broken yes. They should have changed the whole trv, if the other functioning ones were looking iffy then they should have advised and booked for replacing the lot...

    Different tolerances, I expect your old heads which worked are in the great rubbish dump in the sky so the recourse is to change the valve bodies to match the heads.

    Ask for a written confirmation from the manufacturer that their heads fit the old bodies. Odds on they won't. And demand replacement valves
