Would these tools be beneficial to me?

they are a nice idea but unless you have one with a quick change blade they are a right faff to keep putting the blade in holes to do inside cuts. Life is too fast for that these days. Get it water jet cut or something from CAD, or 3d print it out of plastic. who spends days carefully scroll...

    Mitre saw recommendations

depends what you want to cut. Just seen for the makita "Max Cutting Capacity at 45° mitre 36mm" https://its.co.uk/pd/makita-ls0816f-216mm-electric-slide-compound-mitre-saw-_makls0816f.htm I think they mean 45 degree bevel You can cut 47mm at 45 degree with the Metabo which if you're using 2"...

What if a drilled hole is too big?

Next time ask what the person means if its not clear enough. People probably assumed you knew what it meant but weren't going with that answer for some reason. Might be an idea to redo the plugs you already did if they aren't deep enough. You can probably get the plugs out once you've taken...

What if a drilled hole is too big?

Interesting thread this. Because the answer was in the first reply "Tap the plug below the surface" but you didn't catch it, other posts didn't repeat it and made other suggestions and next thing you're buying structural fixings you could hold a wall up rather than for fixing things onto a...

Jig saw or curcular saw for cutting down deck boards and framing for transport to recycling.

For half the price of the power tool with its motor, blade, housing, guards, assembly costs etc you can buy this single piece of plastic which will, despite the obvious cost issue, revolutionize your circular sawing world. https://www.toolstation.com/stanley-bi-colour-quick-square/p15505 for...

Would these tools be beneficial to me?

I suppose its the opposite of grit which is literally grit of different sizes glued to the paper. The courser stones have more cavity when you look at them. Are they glued together material or an actual stone of some type i dont know. Internet will have the answer

Vokera linea 28. Error 04, water pressure OK. Micro switch is not pressed.

We never ask to see proof of a builders qualifications do we, not sure why. I had an electrician around to quote, all seemed good, then as it was potentially open to disagreement later i texted him to ask for an email outlining the agreed work and price agreed. Never heard from him again. Guess...

I wouldn't hold that against anyone but what i saw was a lack of applying their mind to the problem. The issues me and OP faced seem like just needing basic understanding of boiler operation not something complicated by new technology. Like "if X isn't happening it must be either Y or Z" which...

Vokera linea 28. Error 04, water pressure OK. Micro switch is not pressed.

I agree, I had 2 registered gas safe experts condemn mine when it was just the capacitor that needed changing. I generally just assume people aren't good at their job these days until proven otherwise. Doesn't seem unusual that someone can have 20 years experience being crap at their job and...

Weak capacitor. Said it multiple times. Would have cost £5 for a new one and its just a case of undoing a screw on the box on the side of the pump, pulling 2 wires out and pushing the new ones in.

same as sandpaper, course removes material quicker, fine gives a finer finish. In practice i rarely use the course one, fine removes plenty of material. But you really shouldn't sharpen cutting edges on a fast wheel, the metal will get hot and become soft. Thats why we were recommending the slow...

If you disconnect it and it gives a different error code might give a clue that its not related, otherwise hard to say without the manual. you could email vokera and get one probably

if there is no water pressure switch then it can't be water pressure info going to the PCB, it just has a gauge by the look of it. Do you have the service and installation manual for it? I can't find it online
