Small crack in lead flashing - repair

Saddles always under hence the name... If you are happy to go over the ridge be prepared for potential water tracking back onto the existing saddle left in place. Someone will always have a better/worse way to do things but sticking with that photo serve you well

Small crack in lead flashing - repair

No need to get the bottles out (assuming you have a set to hand) If you were to go with that drastic action off comes the ridge and a large welded v saddle fitted underneath. Ridge back on...more work than its worth... As above sensible option is to chase out and fit an additional flashing...

GRP open valley, too high for guttering

Roy orbison crying comes to mind Every days a school day. Credit where credits due I've seen worse attempts just a unfortunate outcome. Personally I opt for the saddle but everyone is different.

    Leaking Roof

Waterchecks/channels/interlocks are often the weakest part of a tile. Duos or whatever they are should be brick bonded to allow the Watercheck to sit on solid tile. Headlap suspect but sealing gaps in tiles I wouldn't advise as any water that reaches above will have no exit

    Roof Tile Bedding mortar

3 cement to 1 sand preferably I joke 2 soft 1 sharp 1 cement is cool Remix is colour fast and cool but depending on pugwork required may be tricky for an amateur tiler Good luck!

small leak at eaves valley after repair

I hear you Just because it was like that before doesn't mean it's correct is sometimes applicable Without being up close and personal it's hard to see sometimes. You've done everything to the book Just seems the eave tray is sitting high and this may affect the natural plane of the roof making...

Quality of pointing and cement fillet/rendering job

I agree with datarebal it is a bodge and unfortunately it gives tilers a bad name I've always been taught to get the bottles out on lead details...I know it can be done without a flame but I'm the first to admit it takes too long and I'm more than satisfied with my welding. Hope you sort it.

    Dry Verge or Bed in

Fair play to you it is handy to have in the van it gets you out of jail Every customer I meet is plastic crazy and would have dry brickwork if they could. Pugwork is an art and a dying one at that.

    Dry Verge or Bed in

Data how do you go on remix mortar...to be truthful it does seem to colour match OK but it's a pig for deeper profiles I often revert back to building/sharp mixes.
