Can you be more specific on what you mean by “wrong”. All, or almost all, are connected the same way ?

That thermal foto was taken when TRV on one radiator, that one, was the only one open. Every other radiator was stone cold.

Lock shield is bottom left. TRV is top right. That’s been same for 20 years.

I guess both can be true at same time, it’s a big issue but also abused a bit.

Just looking at other threads, you get so many different views. Someone with similar symptoms as mine got this: “Claiming sludge in a customers radiator and quoting for powerflushing is the biggest racket going on in the heating industry (in fact powerflushing could do more harm than good).”...

The boiler installation was a really upsetting experience. You can call that touchy if you want? I didn't like a) being physically threatened and b) having to waste a lot of my time to get it sorted via the industry regulator, which also wasn't easy. I had to postpone my new kitten...

Thanks for answers. In this case I slept somewhere else cos it was cold. When I came back boiler / CH were working properly. Both timer and thermostat now had solid green lights , as did boiler. I dunno, likely user error. Maybe lack of patience. Thanks for suggestions/comments
