I’m confused. Are you telling me to look up the same product I posted a link to above your post? And I am more focussed on the gravel and geotextile membrane for this thread as I’m just looking for confirmation it will work and what the best measurements are :)

Putting in retaining oak sleeper walls. They’ll be 200mm x 100mm sleepers laid on the 200mm face, so we need fixings that will go through the 100mm to the sleeper below. Screwfix only has 100mm (so too short) or 150mm screws which will go halfway through the sleeper below. Is this okay? And...

They could do, but as I said there are about a dozen houses on the estate who’ve been doing the same for years and driving right over the pavement. And the lampposts, telephone poles, etc. have been in the same place for decades up here.

Thank you for the great post mate. Drive looks fantastic. I am curious as to why you went 0.5 metre down then 0.2m back up. Could you not have simply gone down 0.2m to start with then raised it back to the original level with your drive? Or did you want it dropping down anyway? So really...

Thanks for the reply. We have a driveway installer coming tomorrow to survey the area and give a quote. Will he recommend certain things like BCO and/or SE based on his experience?
