    right, thank you. Yes there is a TRV on the radiator in the hallway about 4 foot away from the wall thermostat. just a question but why wouldn't you just set all the TRVs to max, warming the house quicker and turning the boilder of faster? Sorry if i am being thick

    disconnected 2nd light and so far hasnt tripped. worked out the power consumption,2x500w light, 160 watt boiler consumption works out at 4.8 amps i believe, there is a timer switch also but doubt it takes it past 5, so i pretty sure its not overload

    sorry for the late reply. all 3 lights are on, on all 3 sockets on the tester. still doesnt work, only thing i would say is that the soxket that supplies the fridge is a newer single socket where as the ones that do not work are old double sockets, maybe thats the problem
