    Painting - where have I gone wrong?

    Hi folks Background - redecorating my home office. Previous paint I believe was standard emulsion. To prep, I did a light sanding down with very fine sandpaper, then washed the walls. I've started to cut in today with vinyl matt and as you can see, it just looks awful - hopefully the photos...

    Patio slab gaps - options for filling

    Hi folks Over time (and pressure washing) most of the cement has come out of the gaps between our paving slabs. An example is in the photo. The gaps are approx 1.5cm. I've got myself confused looking at the various options of sand, mortar etc. What's the easiest DIY option here? thanks!
