Ok guys thats it sorted. As you said, that flexi was the right one. I refitted radiator, bled it and then when I put the heating on and opened the shut off valve it refilled nicely. Can’t thank you guys enough! Legends.

I think that has worked and the flexi wasn’t faulty at all. I was expecting to hear the gushing of water the way it does on my own at home. I will update you when the radiator is back on and bled. Thanks again.

Sorry I meant when I open it all I get is a weep. There is no water through it. I noticed at the top end of it the compression fitting has a nipple on it. Does that mean anything?

Thanks. When I open it a 1/4 turn I’m just getting a weep from the screw.

Hi mate. Thanks for the reply. It’s a Logic System 18 gas boiler. The only flexi hose is lower down and seems shut off by default.

I'm not at the property atm but will be back early in the morning. There are other valves out of picture tbh. I just assumed as it was beside the pressure gauge it was the correct one. Thanks for the response though.

I am trying to top up a central heating system having taken a radiator off for painting. However, the black handled won't turn. I have applied enough pressure to it and it still wouldn't budge and I'm afraid of applying further pressure and maybe breaking it. Any ideas what's going on and how I...

Thanks for the response. I had thought of that but not just is the sand and cement idea more permanent but as I am doing it on my own it would be difficult to set the waste in place, check for leaks then to try and cement tray down whilst waste was connected. Maybe I am thinking about it wrong...

Hi guys, In the process of installing a shower tray and the floor needs levelled where the tray will be going but as the floor is divided by the waste flow that needs to stay, how do I make sure both sides are level with each other? All ideas welcome. Thanks.

It's the curved bit at the top of the wall that concerns me for cutting the panels and also the installation on the edge strip due to the curve. Any ideas?

Question: If I get a shower tray with a depth of 37mm and given there is already a 20mm recess cut out of the floor for the last tray, that leaves 17mm of the tray exposed above floor level. If a floor tile is 10mm thick, is it plausible a tiler could lay them on a bed of 7mm adhesive to keep...

Thanks again mate. The issue with the old tray seems to be that it wasn't suited to the recess cut out of the floor and therefore had to be supported by make-shift packers. This is why I was experiencing the flex obviously.
