Changed the ceiling switch and everything is now working fine

no you don't have to turn the pull switch on for the water to flow but if you didn't the water would just run cold

My shower packed in today the pulley switch light comes on but when you switch on the shower there doesn't seem to be power going to it,also the red light on the pulley switch fades and goes out. Anyone got an ideas could it be the pulley ?
