    Hager SPD (SBP015N) showing red

Hager SPDs display light red for fine and dark red for needing replacement, so really it depends what you mean by it displaying red in the indicator window. I'm surprised no-one else has pointed this out to you.

Can I add an EV charger for a PHEV to this CU

No it isn't justifiable. There should be a reward for reduced environmental impact. Also never before has free tax been changed. Therefore it is my right to have free road tax for life for that electric van.

Can I add an EV charger for a PHEV to this CU

For the fifth time, ROAD TAX. And yes, I know that they call it Vehicle Excise Duty.

AudioLINK has been around for many years (originally only on the CO detectors). AudioLINK+ is much newer.

Can I add an EV charger for a PHEV to this CU

Unfortunately the intelligent tariffs such as Octopus Intelligent Go don't exist here. The only off-peak tariffs are Economy 7. (1a.m. to 8a.m. GST (i.e. 2a.m. to 9a.m. during Daylight Savings.) Even those advertised as "EV" tariffs are simply Economy 7 here.

Can I add an EV charger for a PHEV to this CU

I didn't say it was the same cost as Diesel (although the road tax unjustifiably is). My point was that the cheapest nighttime rate here is over double of that in Britain. Basic reading comprehension would have ascertained that.

Can I add an EV charger for a PHEV to this CU

Hardly a honeymoon when I'm being taxed the same as a Diesel van. I would call it rape. We also don't have the 7p/kWh night-time rate here, but the cheapest is over double that.

    EICR Faults

    Precisely.

    EICR Faults

No. That's a gross misrepresentation of what I wrote. Reports should be reviewed in advance of inspection and testing for good reason.

    EICR Faults

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Knowing about previous findings IN ADVANCE can allow for more thorough and targeted inspection of potentially concerning parts of the installation. Reading the previous Report after the fact prevents this.

Indeed. It demonstrates fundamental stupidity and should require brutal reeducation with a wooden spoon and Chinese water torture. The date of installation is not relevant (aside from age of cables and accessories etc.)

    EICR Faults

Indeed. It's difficult to quanitfy deterioration without any previous data. (Or even get an idea whether any remedial work was carried out to address previously identified issues, or whether additions or alterations have been made.) Sadly in the majority of cases previous certificates and/or...

OK to have insulated inner cores within plastic trunking?

No, it isn't the same at all. Otherwise there would be no reason for the two designations.

OK to have insulated inner cores within plastic trunking?

IPXXD is far less stringent than IP4X.
