    We had a few of them type sub floors asphalted. We filled in the voids were the timber was with ardex na and a46 rapid and then got a 20mm of flooring grade asphalt. Very popular in the north west.

    Always best to prime mate. Holds reduce pinholes and helps the compound flow better. You want a 4-1 mix with P131 over the sub floor

    For me Fill in holes with ardex na or A46 rapid repair then ardex DPM1c painted 2 inches on the walls as well.

    If you let it tack off dry it will release. Done it a few times. Can you make a hatch.

    Who is the manufacturer? You shouldn’t float any herringbone wood. All should be fixed to the sub floor?

    You could use uzin 630 primer. Then just screed it all and no plywood.

    You can use a pin leveller. I use a screeding trowel. Every bag we mix goes 3m2 ish so I know it’s about right. We use carpet underlay and spray it to the floor or sand to block it. If high we use plywood and silicone

    Jigsaw to cut it or we use a exact saw No feather and 2mm screed is to thin. Needs to be 3-6mm thick. We always go approx 4-5mm

    Fitter 2 is correct. You need to turn heating off and do a moisture test with a hydrometer Needs to be a Reading under 65% RH
