    4mm T&E in insulation

Are you saying the 37A Ref method C is correct and and the other reference methods are incorrect? There is a glaring error (basically the 50% reduction in CCC) in the tables. I have never seen an erratum to correct the table. Of course the regs have never has a misprint before have they?

    4mm T&E in insulation

Table 4D5 gives all reference method 103 CCCs as exactly half of the reference method C CCCs apart from 4mm T&E. Table 4A2 does not clear things up. So anyone any ideas why 4mm T&E has a greater than 50% reduction in it's CCC when installed in insulation?

    Three 3kW handwashers

Does this 0.725 rule apply if overload protection is not needed? It's 3 fixed loads that is complicated by a useless installation manual:-)

    Breaking ring main

I would not have any problems with running the UFH from the lighting circuit. The UFH will need RCD protection - either at the CU or via a RCD fused spur

    New CU. Post installation questions.

I totally agree that there may be a reason for not exporting the earth. But putting two RCDs in series (with the suggestion that they are both 30mA ones) when the summerhouse is powered by SWA suggests a lack of thought has gone into the CU swap. Incorrectly labelling the MCBs says enough...

    New CU. Post installation questions.

And would you consider that to be a badly designed installation?

    New CU. Post installation questions.

I was thinking that there would now be two RCDs in series.

Adding the earth rod seems to be a pointless exercise!

    FCU connected to ring main

The word "only" is not used in 433.1.5. It says that BS1363 MAY be supplied with or without unfused spurs and does not preclude the use of a 20A switch to supply an unfused spur.
