How often does a frost free freezer normally defrost?

I presumed (and I stress the presumed) that they are 'frost free' because they de-humidify the air in the freezer (and do not actually defrost).

    Build regs for doors.

Thank for that clarification. I'll take back my comments. And if that is the case I would simply change it as it makes exiting safer.

    Build regs for doors.

Looking at that photo, if the door is changed so it has its hinges on its left, then the door will block the corridor when opened. Never mind regulations, it will drive you nuts as you have to manoeuvre around the door with your shopping/kids/friends.

    Postcrete for brick laying?

Postcrete makes concrete not mortar, it sets too fast, and perhaps worse also contains stones that will make it impossible (although I bet some have) to use as mortar. You can easily and cheaply get premixed mortar (even from Amazon!!!). Spend the £12 on the real thing...

    Steps for Trimming hedges

For me I do it along the length of hedge, when it looks heavy wrap it together, drop it into bin, and pull out tarp (normally dropping some of the cuttings). Saves me using brush. Horses for courses though, works well on thus hedge, and might not use elsewhere.

    Steps for Trimming hedges

Great reminder - I use a large tarpaulin to collect the cuttings, that I drag along the bottom of the hedge as I cut along the hedge. Makes collection of leaves much easier.

    Steps for Trimming hedges

I took top off hedge so it is now just over 6foot tall, so I can use a long lightweight step-up to cut (the new) top of the hedge. Eg (as a random example): https://www.screwfix.com/p/werner-500mm-x-1-15m-folding-work-platform/574JJ? A one metre tall platform will have railings and be heavy...

Circuit tripping causing damage to IT equiptment

JesZZ The common and unchanged item is the TV. (The voltage regulators in computers and laptops, both in their 'brick form' and onboard, tend to be very stable and rugged. I would suggest (guess) that the TV has a short on its PCB that is occasionally putting a higher than tolerated voltage...

HP Colour Laser 179fnw Wireless Multifunction printer with Fax getting PC with new hard drive to find it?

Harry good idea. Although before DOS I would put the IP address into my browser to see if the printer has a webpage showing its connection (and often ink levels).

HP Colour Laser 179fnw Wireless Multifunction printer with Fax getting PC with new hard drive to find it?

Can you get printer to show you hat IP address it is connected to? You sometimes press a button and it does a test print saying of it is connected to router and to what IP address. Then try and get install printer to look at that IP address.
