LG Washing Machine fails to heat

I have one of these LG washing machines that is excellent when working but of late (purchased 2015) the water in the wash fails to heat. The cold inlet is fine as the machine fills up and also runs a complete cycle but the pods don't seem to dissolve either. Contacted my local appliance repair...

Advice for filling hole in floor

Ok, thanks. There is a live gas pipe there but it's been there many years. I did ask my gas engineer and he said pretty much the same as you guys. I don't want to chip away at it anymore for obvious reasons.

Advice for filling hole in floor

The builder who did some work on our kitchen was supposed to knock out all the hard concrete and replace with old floor tiles up to the door. After chipping away and leaving a hole he never returned to finish. Can anyone advise what is best to re-fill this hole as I don't think normal mortar...

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

There are def no clips on mine in the places they are still holding. There were white traces of white dried adhesive where it had started peeling. I have tried making a wire clip and it's just impossible as nothing to hold onto.

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

Thanks but I don't think that's possible as it isn't a wire fitting, just adhesive but I'll give it a go!

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

Sadly it's all peeled away and gone crispy which is odd as it's high temp glue for stoves.

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

I have just done that very task so hopefully it will work, even as a temporary measure until I get a new seal kit.

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

Thanks. Can't see any clips but there is traces of white on the rubber that has peeled away which I am assuming is adhesive.

    Electrolux EOB53000W door seal adhesive

I have an Electrolux fan oven but the seal is coming away at the top,. There also appears to be a gap which I am not sure if meant to be or snapped. I have some wood stove rope glue that I was hoping would fix it being high temp ? Thanks

    Insulated lining paper mold.

I have looked at that but it's only suitable for wet rooms like Kitchens and bathrooms.

    Insulated lining paper mold.

It's not rubbish. The outside humidity has a huge effect on the inside of the house. My meters always run high inside when humid high outdoors. That aside, the humidity reads around 70-80% in the room on average without the dehumidifier. When on it gets it to the mid 50s-lower 60s. Of course...

    Insulated lining paper mold.

Yes I have 3 around the housr, as well as one inbuilt on the dehumidifier. They only tell you the humidity, not the source of it. They are also pretty useless as if it's high % outdoors it's very hard to keep it down in the house, even with a dehumidifier. I agree though it seems to be...

    Insulated lining paper mold.

Same downstairs but not as bad. Still, the outside was storm dried and dry rods in base. It seems any objects in the way seem to cause more damp.

    Insulated lining paper mold.

Pretty much the whole length of the corner but you can see where the window is. We were going to decorate this Spring and tackle the window sill etc so please ignore it. This was the wall before we hung the paper when in the process of removing old lining paper. We did treat the area with mold...

    Insulated lining paper mold.

Yes but there is a dehumidifier running which should attract the condensation due to being the coldest point in the room. Other parts of the house with this paper seem fine. I could put another layer over the top with plenty of thermal paste ?

    Insulated lining paper mold.

I can't get the whole house in shot so just the affected corner in the bedroom. As you can see the bricks aren't wet. It's a crisp frosty, sunny day. There is a little dripping in rainy weather from the corner guttering but nothing severe. I put the paper up on all the outside walls in Oct 2023...

    Insulated lining paper mold.

We try to eliminate condensation as much as possible by opening windows, dehumidifier etc. On that very corner of the wall is where the guttering (cast iron) is dripping a bit but I doubt it is affecting the inside so much unless making it extra cold. Old houses for you!
