    Do membranes under wood floors cause dampness? Because if the damp cannot get through the membrane it will become trapped between the membrane and the concrete and build up, then work its way up the walls as there is no where else for it to go.

    Disturbing gushing water from projecting pipe outside apartment block.

    I live in an apartment block (3 years old). There is a pipe projecting out of the lawn that gushes out water every 15 minutes. This splashes onto the pool of water that has accumulated by the wearing down of the grass on the lawn. It is very disturbing at night to have this gushing noise...
