    I know I should replace it but as it's a friend they will want it done for next to nothing and the whole system needs bringing up to spec. If it wasn't the mother of someone that gives me 50% of my work I wouldn't even entertain fixing it. Ho hum...........

    Hi all, just wondered if anyone can help with any information on the gas valve on the above NH MK2? For my sins I have been asked to look at this boiler for a friend, now we all know favours cost you money but I still said I'd have a look..... Well so far it's cost me £140 for a new Mercury...
