    Boiler Replacement

Sorry never noticed that .Thanks. So does that mean I might be better looking at a manufacurer whose boiler modulates lower. Must admit I don't know anything about boiler modulation.

    Boiler Replacement

That pretty much describes our house except that we have uninsulated cavity walls so I guess the heat loss would be similar. Would you know or can you tell me how to find out the figures for modulation for a 30KW Ideal boiler.

    Boiler Replacement

Now I only have a shower I assume 12.4 litres/min would be ample, as they claim it will be for a shower.

    Boiler Replacement

When the boiler was installed we had a large cast iron roll top bath that took too long to fill from the boiler that was in when we bought the property. The Logic 35 gave 17L/Min and was much quicker for running a bath. I always felt it was a bit overpowered but wanted the convenience. I will...

    eco friendly timber framed bungalow

Could it be that others have already done investigations into whether it would be worthwhile and decided to walk away. I would, just from your description and the fact that you already appear to have doubts

    Tiling over old plaster

Personaly I would have it skimmed first. A lot less trouble and probably do a better job of the tiling

    Boiler Replacement

After another breakdown I have decided it might be time to replace our 16 year old Ideal Logic 35. In order to get an idea of the costs I tried a couple of these online pricing sites. They ask various questions but one that I would like some help on is the number of radiators. Do double...

No hot water then very hot water!

Not a heating engineer but. Ours failed again within 12 months after just replacing the seals. I would suggest getting it done now and replace the whole valve if you have someone booked. Ours is an Ideal so not sure if they are the same as yours as far as the diverter is concerned.

    Drill Porcelain Patio

Sorry but I have to disagree those bases are designed so that any flexing is taken up betwen the base and the post. Never had a problem with ours, fixed as described, in a similar situation in 20 years. Although the tiles are not porcelain they are only about 8mm thick with no signs at all of...

    Is this a supporting arch?

Can only guess from the area you have cleared but I would think it was part of an original arch that was left in place when the opening was bricked up. I would want a lintel installing.

    Doorbell issue

Would a wireless repeater or range extender on the outside of the shed resolve the problem. Speak to Technet.

He probaly only had a rough idea where appliances were going to be sited ans so left a coil of cable hanging out of the wall for use when the kitchen was planned or installed

Ideal Boiler Going Into Standby Code 00

Not a heating enineer but I think that code as you call it just means the boiler is standing by ready for a call for heating or hot water. When you run the hot tap does it change to DHW or similar and CH when the heatining is on. If so then the boiler appears to be working properly and the room...
